Chairman KP Oli asks opponents not to dream to finish off UML



Kathmandu – CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has urged the opponent forces not to dream to finish off his party.

At a greetings exchange programme on the occasion of Tihar festival in Madhyapur Thimi on Thursday, UML Chairman Oli argued that no one can finish off his party at their wish.

Oli also claimed that he was jailed for long for raising the agenda of republicanism in the country decades ago.

The UML Chairman also said that his party did exceptional jobs while leading the government. “We did many development works. Anyone can see our performance,” according to Oli.

Oli further said that his party was in the nation building campaign from every corner.

Similarly, he termed Bhaktapur as a living museum.

During the programme, UML leaders Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Mahesh Basnet, Shashi Jung Thapa and others put forth their opinions.

Meanwhile, UML leader Bishnu Rimal said that the party’s 10th national convention would elect the party leadership with higher level of understanding.

At a Deusi-Bhailo programme organized by the party’s Nuwakot-Kathmandu Liaison Forum in Kathmandu on Thursday, Rimal argued that the upcoming general convention of the party would give a clear message for the implementation of the people’s multiparty democracy with its uniqueness. (RSS)
