Chitwan, March 30 (RSS) : Chairperson of CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has said problem of river erosion and subsequent suffering facing the people on the Narayani River bank would end hereafter.
Chairperson Dahal said so while speaking at a foundation stone laying ceremony for the Narayani river management project. Reminding that people’s embankment project brought by him during his first prime ministerial stint was brought to implementation, he said people living near the Narayani River would now be free from the fear of inundation.
The CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson shared that he fulfilled his commitment made before the people. He further said the place would be turned into city and centre of development once the Narayani river management and embankment programme completed successfully.
Similarly, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Pampha Bhusal, viewed the ministry had mobilised internal resources for the construction of this project. She directed the construction company and concerned employees to complete the work, ensuring quality in the slated time.
Bharatpur Metropolitan City Mayor Renu Dahal mentioned that people on the Narayani River bank would never face problem after the construction of this project, adding she fulfilled the commitment that she made before the people during election.
The project is targeted to be completed within two years at a cost of Rs 4.32 billion.
