Amnesty International launches ‘Rights Arcade’ app

Kathmandu, Jan 23 (RSS) : The Amnesty International has released a mobile app, ‘Rights Arcade’, in a bid to educate people on freedoms as speech and peaceful gathering and protest.

On the occasion of the International Education Day, the Amnesty International brought forth the free mobile app so that new generation would get the human rights awareness in a convenient way.

The Amnesty International Nepal chapter’s director Nirajan Thapaliya hoped the app would help boost the human rights campaign and build relevant knowledge in the country. It also encourages the users to take action on the human rights agenda. The features as game in the app engage the users with learning, review and involvement in the human rights campaigns. Currently, the game in the app is available in four languages- English, simple Chinese, Thai and Korean. The number of languages would be increased in future, Thapaliya added.
