Kathmandu, Feb 1 (RSS) : The state-run Nepal Television observed its 37th anniversary on Monday.
In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the NTV observed the anniversary briefly and without organizing public gathering.
It said the anniversary was celebrated by adhering to the health protocol the government issued in the wake of pandemic.
On the occasion, the letters from the President, the Prime Minister and the Minister for Communications and Information Technology were read out.
The NTV, which had begun broadcasting since 2041BS, is currently running three channels in the Kathmandu Valley and two outside the Valley.
