‘Federal laws will create environment to spur investment in education sector’



Kathmandu, Jan 29 (RSS) : Minister of State for the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Umesh Shrestha said that the government is introducing different federal laws for the development of education.

Addressing a programme organized at Swastishree Gurukul School, Kathmandu, today, State Minister Shrestha shared that an environment could be enabled wherein private sector could increase investment in education once the federal laws are brought to effect.

He had attended the programme virtually. On the occasion, he added that separate laws would be introduced for technical and higher education or school-level education. 

Saying education is undoubtedly spectacular to pace the changing time and necessity, State Minister Shrestha claimed that Nepal would become a hub for education and health sector.

“Quality education is a must to stop students going abroad for higher education and spending billions of rupees. It will be effective to some extent after the formulation of federal laws in this regard”, he mentioned.

Saying that good works are criticized, he suggested to adopt patience. Swastishree Gurukul was announced as IB World School today itself.
